Abstract

The parameterization of the dynamic system using delta operator provides a unified framework for modelling, analysis and control in which the continuous time results can be obtained from the discrete time results at high sampling limit. In this paper, a speed control strategy of induction motor based on indirect field orientation control (IFOC) has been proposed using delta operator. The continuous-time dynamic model of the induction motor has been considered for design of control scheme. The Proportional and Integral controller (PI) is designed in delta domain for IFOC of Induction Motor. The experiments are performed using MATLAB/Simulink platform and the results are provided to illustrate the usefulness of the methodologies.
